Fold your own Sendbrief: an instruction

This is the reconstruction of the two and a half sheets on which the Taylor Institution Library copy of the ‚Sendbrief vom Dolmetschen‘ was originally printed. To produce your own pamphlet, follow these five steps:

1. Print double-sided on A3-sized paper
or: print (fit to size) on A4 paper, then enlarge on photocopier. Each text block should have a width of 10.5cm

2. Cut off the half sheet with the modern cover

3. Fold each sheet so that the pages are in the order
         Sheet a (4pp.): title, aij, aiij, page with catchword ‚himel‘
         Sheet b (4pp.): b, bij, biij, page with catchword Newē
         Sheet c (2pp.): c, page with Luther’s sign-off

4. Cut off the white margins

5. Stitch the three gatherings into the blue cover
